- THE SOLICITATION AND ITS RESULTANT CONTRACT ARE ISSUED UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM OF THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT REFORM ACT OF 1988. Dredging, Maumee River, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. Work consists of but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of approximately 200,000 cubic yards of dredged material, other than ledge rock, from the Maumee Bay, Toledo, Ohio in strict accordance with the Plans & Specifications. Dredged material shall be disposed of in the Government-designated Open-Lake Disposal area, as indicated on the contract drawing. This solicitation is a full and open competition w/ HubZone preference. The NAICS code is 237990. Estimated m agnitude in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estmated liquidated damages are between $500 and $1000 per day. The solicitation will be announced on FedBizOpps and will be available for downloa ding on www.FedTeds.gov around 3/28/08. Once the solicitation is posted on FedTeds, a hyperlink will be provided in the solicitation announcement through FedBizOpps. WE WILL NOT PROVIDE A DISK OR HARD COPY OF THE SOLICITATION.
