- THE SOLICITATION AND ITS RESULTANT CONTRACT ARE ISSUED UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM OF THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT REFORM ACT OF 1988. Dredging, Buffalo River, Buffalo, Erie County, NY. Work consists of but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of approximately 85,000 cubic yards of dredged material, other than ledge rock, from the Buffalo River, Buffalo, Erie County, NY in strict accordance wit h the Plans & Specifications. Dredged material shall be disposed of in the Government-designated Open-Lake Disposal area, as indicated on the contract drawing. This solicitation is a Total Small Business set aside w/ HubZone preference. The NAICS code is 2 37990. Estimated magnitude in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estmated liquidated damages are between $500 and $1000 per day. The solicitation will be announced on FedBizOpps and will be ava ilable for downloading on www.FedTeds.gov on 4/17/08. Once the solicitation is posted on FedTeds, a hyperlink will be provided in the solicitation announcement through FedBizOpps. WE WILL NOT PROVIDE A DISK OR HARD COPY OF THE SOLICITATION.
