Description
Purchase of one rotor wing aircraft that meets the following performance specifications and as equipped as described in Sections A and B of the solicitation: Seating: Five (5) passenger seats not including pilot, but including copilot seat in an aircraft, normally single-pilot operated. Landing gear: Skid-Type Powerplant: Single Engine Turbine engine Airspeed: 120 knots Section B: The aircraft must also meet the minimum requirements as specified in Section B of this solicitation Airframe Life: The airframe shall be a 1990 airframe or newer with at least 50% calendar life remaining on the 12 year aircraft inspection (if applicable). Component Life: The aircraft shall have at least 50% life remaining on all major life limited components. Maintenance: The aircraft must be capable of a maintenance cycle of at least 50 hours between maintenance events performed by an A&P mechanic. Performance: Rotorcraft certified in accordance with 14 CFR 27.143 paragraph (c): which states: A wind velocity of not less than 17 knots must be established in which the rotorcraft can be operated with-out loss of control on or near the ground in any maneuver appropriate to the type (such as cross-wind takeoffs, sideward flight, and rearward flight), with (1) Critical weight; (2) Critical center of gravity; (3) Critical rotor r.p.m.; and (4) Altitude from standard sea level conditions to the maxi-mum altitude capability of the rotorcraft or 7,000 feet, whichever is less. Payload: Non-jettisonable internal payload (HIGE) of 600 pounds at 25 degrees C at 7,000 feet pressure altitude using a pilot weight of 200 pounds, a 25-pound survival kit, and fuel for 1.9 hours. This requirement is being solicited as unrestricted - It is not set aside for small business
