- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) which will solicit proposals to provide Expert Consultant Technical Assistance and Training Support for the Bureau of Primary Health Care. The contractor must have the necessary experience and expertise to provide supplemental expert assistance and support to HRSA's BPHC grantees and HRSA's BPHC Federal staff in a range of areas. The primary purpose of this proposed contract is to provide technical and consultative assistance in the form of on-site visits, document reviews and/or video/phone consultation to new and existing HRSA/BPHC grantees. The assistance provided would focus on key primary health care areas including conducting need assessments, providing quality services, health center management and finance, governance, strategic planning, facility and operations, management information systems, risk management/Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) coverage, performance improvement/measurement, quality improvement/assurance, clinical practice management, etc. The second purpose of this proposed multi-year contract would be to provide timely, coordinated, and strategic management and training support to HRSA/BPHC staff. This support would help staff learn individually and collectively to improve work processes, increase grantee/employee satisfaction, promote effective knowledge transfer and provide enhanced technical/programmatic support to HRSA/BPHC grantees.
