Description
The following are vendor questions and the Government's responses: QUESTION: What is involved with this contract and what geographic areas are involved? We are interested in contracting but need more information. ANSWER: Please see page 6, B.2 Schedule of Items/Costs, for geographic locations, and page 9, B.32 Statement of Work. QUESTION: I have a few questions regarding the solicitation which are as follows: Page 28 C.9.52-222-42 STATEMENT OF EQUIVALENT RATES FOR FEDERAL HIRES -Question: Am I correct in my understanding that although the clause indicates that it is not providing a wage determination it is stating that the contracting agency is expected to pay the wage and fringe benefits that are not less than what is indicated here? I am trying to determine how best to use the information provided in the clause because it says these are the wages and benefits expected to be paid but also states it is not a wage determination. ANSWER: Please see page 31 of the solicitation for DOL Wage Determination No. 2005-2401 (REV. 4), dated August 7, 2007. QUESTION: How many hours constitute a visit? ANSWER: A visit is minimally one hour and maximum of 6 - 8 hours. QUESTION: Regarding Solicitation Number VA-246-08-RP-0011, we are not accredited or Medicare certified. It states in the bid that you must have at least Medicare/State Certification. However, we have North Carolina Home Care Agency "Licensure", not certification. Will a North Carolina Home Care Agency License suffice? Please clarify. ANSWER: Amendment 1 to the solicitation will be issued stating the following: Paragraph 15(b), on page 18 of the solicitation, is DELETED in its entirety.
