Description
NAICS Code: 334512 Amend. 1: The purpose of this modification is to identify the Request for Quote number which is RFQ-OH-08-00045. All other terms and conditions shall remain the same. Combined Solicitation/Synopsis Electromagnetic Field Compensation System This is a combined synopsis/request for quote (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The identifying RFQ number is RFQ-OH-08-000. The RFQ and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-23. This requirement is full and open competition. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to result from the award of this RFQ. The NAICS code is 334512. Specifications This request is for the purchase of an Electromagnetic Field Compensation System which is needed for the suppression of Electromagnetic Field Interference (EMI) which is limiting the utilization of a newly purchased JEOL 6490 scanning electron microscope. The system is located in Cincinnati, OH. The system is needed for regulated contaminants research. The specification requirements of the Electromagnetic Field Compensation System are listed below. 1. The system shall be tunable and the supplier must install and tuned for our location/situation. 2. Controlled bandwidth shall cover 0 Hz - 20 KHz 3. The EMI attenuation shall be no less than 50 db below 100 Hz. 4. The EMI attenuation shall be no less than 25 db at 1 KHz. 5. The EMI attenuation shall be no less than 10 db between 1 KHz and 5 KHz. 6. The EMI attenuation shall be no less than 3 db at 20 KHz 7. The availability of frequency specific enhanced attenuation would be a plus. 8. The noise floor shall be less than 0.03 mG. 9. Drift shall be less than 0.1 mG. 10. The offeror shall include a warranty of not less than 1 year. 11. Offerors shall provide product and customer support for one year following date of purchase order award.
