Description: Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting, Yuma, Arizona, correction to initial intent to negotiate contract extension with options with EC III LLC under contract DAAD01- 99-C-0003 on a sole source basis. The notice changes the requirement from a six month contract extension with six additional one-month options to a six month contract extension with twelve additional one-month options. The new period of performance will be from 1 October 2007 through 31 March 2007 with twelve one-month options to potentially extend the contract through 31 March 2008. This extension is necessary to allow the government time to finalize its acquisition strategy and process the follow-on ac quisition. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
