This amendment is issued to answer questions. The response date will stay the same at 28 February @ 4:00. If you have additional questions you are requested to email them to me at donna.blossom@us.army.mil. Also, the requirement has decreased fro m 800 lbs to 400 lbs. Question: 1. Please explain the below 3077 is that pounds?, Gallons and 2 samples? 1a. Answer: Womack Army Medical center produces approximately 100 gallons per quarter. Question: 2. Please explain quarterly e stimates are 3077 scrap/Archival film, 33 gallons of cartridges and 2 samples. 2a. Answer: Womack Army Medical center produces approximately 100 gallons per quarter. Question: 3. Is the below solitation still open? 3a. Answer: Yes. <BR >Question: 4. Do you require us to do the harvesting silver flake out of the electrolytic units, or has it already been harvested? 4a. Answer: Yes, contractor is required to harvest silver flakes. Question: 5. Do you require us to complete th e chain of custody? 5a. Answer: Yes, IAW the SOW we require a manifest. Question: 6. I am wanting to know approximately how many 66 gallon containers per quarter will be removed 6a. Answer: Less than one 65 gallon container Quest ion: 7. Do we dispose of the drum or return it next pick-up? 7a. Answer: Contractor will provide all supplies and equipoment IAW Seciton C-4 in the SOW. Question: 8. Do we cook off the fluid it is in and retain the silver? or is it for us to take care of ? 8a. Answer: Yes, Contractor will provide cook off IAW State, Local and Federal regulations per SOW. Question: 9. It appears we come there every 3 months can we load it with a regular dolly? 9a. Answer: Once per quarter, reg ular dolly will do. Question: 10. How do you want it priced?? As a per container removed 100 qallons per quarter? 10a. Answer: IAW SOW, per quarter EST 100 gallons. Question: 11. What is the % of silver recovered from each drum ? 11 a. Answer: Average .424 mg per liter Question: 12. Do we return the money for the silver to the Government or is that to be included in the pick up fee? 12a. Answer: IAW the solicitation C-5 states The Contractor shall buy the recovered w et silver flake at 10 times the Handy and Harmon market value based on the weight of the silver at the time of service (harvest). The amount will be credited against the services being provided by the contractor for the serviced facility. Question: 13. Our records do not reflect the number of sites indicated by your exhibit. Is it the intention of Womack to re-instate these sites for service again? 13a. Answer: Please see the new TE 2 for sites. Question 14. Are all locations listed for the MTF within the Ft. Bragg compound? Does this represent a reporting and line of authority for them through Ft. Bragg? 14a. Answer: Yes, all locations are on Fort Bragg, any outlying sites will be in a 8 mile radius of the hospital. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-FEB-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
