Description: U. S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide 50,750 pounds of Nonmicronized Pentaerythritol (PE) per drawing 36-1-317. This drawing is considered distribution D and only available when requested in writing from KO and after certification at www.dlis.dla.mil. PE to be packaged in 55 gallon bags or 55 gallon loose head non-returnable drums. FOB Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR. ASC intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-08-R-3000 to the Ar my Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about 10 Mar 2008 with opening 30 days from issuance. This contract will be covered under NAICS 325199. Small Business for this NAICS is 1000 employee s or less. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. This is for a base year with 100% option and with four option years; each with 100% option quantity. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) mu st be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors are also to submit representations and certificatio ns electronically via the Business Partner Network.
