- DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to MISSION INFORMATION RESOURCES, INC. to procure Tactical Handbooks, Unit Leader, Small (THULS) for Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe, Hawaii. This NOTICE OF INTENT is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide material sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. The Government will consider all EOIs received prior to five (5) da ys after the date of publication of this synopsis before 1200 HST on that date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. EOIs may be sent via facsimile to: Attn: Ms. Lisa Roth at 808-257-1158 or emailed to lisa.roth@usmc.mil. The facsimile or email transmission must clearly identify this notice and the name of the contracting officer on the cover page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmission to be completed. All pages of the facsimile or email transmission must reach the contracting office before the deadline specified and pages of the facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified de adline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-re ceipt of facsimile or email transmission and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile or email was received. This procurement will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR Part 6.302-1.
