Description
Description: See numbered notes 12. NSN 2540-01-543-0747 ? Parts kit, seat belt being bought in accordance with Schroth Safety Products (1EAW9) P/N 901-US-07301-1. This is a commercial part and will be solicited using FAR part 12. This solicitation is for an indefinite quantity, long-term type contract with a based year and up to 4 options years. The estimated annual quantity is 2136 each to be shipped to various stock locations within CONUS. FOB destination and inspection at destination is requested. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 2/19/08. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, socioeconomic, and JWOD. The required delivery is for up to 500 each in 30 days, plus up to 500 each every 30 days until complete. Notice to all Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitation in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
