- Description
- On Friday, February 22, 2008, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released a Notice to Prospective Offerors inviting them to an Information Exchange on March 25-26, 2008 to discuss the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (GDP) Decontamination and Decommission Project. The Department announced its intention acquire a Management and Integration contractor to lead the anticipated multi-billion dollar project. The GDP facilities have been in Cold Standby and Cold Shutdown since the United States Enrichment Corporation ceased GDP enrichment operations at Portsmouth in 2001.
