- Description
- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability of potential 8(a), HUBZONE, SMALL DISADVANTAGED VETERAN OWNED or SMALL BUSINESS sources. This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA to identify 8 (a), HUBZONE, SMALL DISADVANTAGED VETERAN OWNED or SMALL BUSINESS sources capable of inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, recharging, and hydrostatically testing the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Fire Extinguishers in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers; Connecticut Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation; and OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.157 Portable fire Extinguishers for a base period plus four option periods, not to exceed 60 months, if exercised by the Government, beginning 01 April 2008. This service is located at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London CT.
