- Description
- This requirement is open to all offerors, and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAIC code is 238990; Size Standard is $13.0 Million. Refurbish the existing 3 level, OTIS Company manufactured, freight elevator serving the Boston Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located at 35 Northeastern Boulevard, Nashua, NH. The work includes, but is not limited to the following, furnish all materials labor and equipment necessary to provide a digital closed-loop microprocessor-based control system specifically designed to meet the needs of modernizing UMV traction elevator equal to the Elevonic 411M-VF control system, as manufactured by Otis Elevator Company. All work is outlined in the "Freight Elevator Modernization Project Technical Specifications". Performance Period is 35 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No Liquidated Damages will be assessed. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about the week of March 3, 2008. Contractor will be required to provide references showing that during the past 5 years they have successfully completed a minimum of one job of similar size and complexity as outlined in the "Freight Elevator Modernization Project Technical Specifications" as a prime contractor. All offerors will be required to submit references when submitting their offer.
