Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 with Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. 335 SE Oralabor Rd, Ankeny, IA 50021 for maintenance and software support services for a Landis & GYR Power inc Systems 600, including monthly scheduled preventative maintenance calls, unlimited service calls and parts as needed and furnishing factory host software revisions and training for the VA Central Iowa Healthcare System, Knoxville, Division, 1515 W. Pleasant St. Knoxville, IA. The contract period is for 1 Mar 2008 thru 30 Sep 2008 with two option years for renewal. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $6.5 million. This procurement is based on the determination that the Governments minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from only one source. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to provide this service by responding in writing to our office no later that 01 Mar 2008 at 8:00 a.m. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government no to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone request accepted.
