Description
Air Combat Command is planning to procure Weather Services and Equipment Maintenance Services. This procurement is set-aside 100% for Small Business IAW FAR 19.502-2. The period of performance will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year options. The places of performance will be at Fort Belvoir, VA; Fort Benning, GA; Fort Knox, KY; Fort Sill, OK; Fort Huachuca, AZ; Fort Rucker AL, Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Andalusia/Opp Municipal Airport, AL, and Troy Municipal Airport AL;Ft Campbell, KY; Ft Riley, KS; Ft Hood, TX; Ft Polk, LA; Ft Stewart/Hunter AAF, GA; and Ft Drum, NY. The solicitation will be issued on or about 14 March 2008. The government expects to make an award on or about 31 July 2008. The phase-in period will be 2 months beginning on 1 August ? 30 September 2008, with a performance start date of 1 October 2008. Industry comments on the draft PWS are requested at this time. Interested parties should review the documents posted on the Fed Biz Ops and provide any comments via e-mail to this office by 7 March 2008. All questions and answers pertaining to the PWS will be posted to Fed Biz Ops. The Air Force will consider and respond to all inputs received. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541990. The forthcoming solicitation will contain detailed information on what contractors are to provide and the important suspense dates. Changes to the solicitation or accompanying documents must be made via official amendment action. It is the offeror(s) responsibility to monitor the Internet for the release of any further information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractors are reminded that all communication must go through the ACC AMIC/PKB office and POCs designated within the solicitation.
