- Description
- This synopsis is issued to announce the Air Force's intent to award a firm fixed price (FFP) service contract for psychological health providers to support military treatment facilities (MTF) in Germany, Italy, England, Portugal, Turkey, Japan and Korea. The period of performance includes a 12-month base period plus one 12-month option period. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition allowing all responsible sources to submit a proposal which shall be considered for award. The contractor will be required to recruit, qualify and retain clinical support service professionals to provide personal services within the MTFs. Positions to be filled include clinical psychologists, clinical social workers and a psychiatrist. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 621112. The small business size standard is $9,000,000.00. The RFP release is projected for 12 Mar 08. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government?s ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
