Combination Synopsis/Solicitation Solicitation Number: W9124R-08-T-1015 Response Date: 03 March 2008, 12:00 PM MST This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in the Feder al Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Reque st for Quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-23, Effective 25 January 2008 Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) current to DCN 20080124. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423320 with a size standar d of 500 employees. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html The proposal shall consist of the following Contract Line It em Numbers (CLINs): 0001, Quantity: 5,700, Unit of Issue: Ton, Description: 3/4 ABC Ground Surface Material, first delivery of 3,320 tons by 18 March 08, second delivery of 1,480 tons by 01 April 08 and third delivery of 900 tons by 23 April 08. CLIN 0002 , Quantity: 820, Unit of Issue: Ton, Description: Rip-rap rock, smaller than 12 delivered by 01 April 08. All quotes shall include shipping costs to U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ 85365. Per FAR 52.212-2 the Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, past performance and price. All quotes shall be clearly marked with Request for Quote number W9124R-08-T-1015 and emailed to the POC listed below or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than 03 March 2008, 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offerors shall include in their proposal, past perfo rmance information on at least three other contracts in which they provided same or similar items. Past performance information shall include the following: 1) Contract Number, 2) Company/Agency Name and Address, 3) Point of Contact (Name) with Phone Numbe r and Email Address and 4) Brief Synopsis of project to include price. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation ma y be excluded from consideration.
