- Both Amendments must be acknowledged at time of Bid Opening for this project. Amendment 0001 set forth below: The following have been added by full text: REVISED SCOPE OF WORK SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATIO N PAGE SUMMARY OF CHANGES SECTION 00010 - SOLICITATION CONTRACT FORM The performance period code Mandatory has been added. SECTION 00800 - SPECIAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS The pu rpose of this Amendment 0001 is due to the following required Scope Changes for Building 1202 East Elevation set forth below as a result of the recent Site Visit. In addition the Bid Opening date is hereby extended to 22 February 2008, at 2:00 PM at Gibbs Hall, P/O Sun Eagles Golf and Country Club, Tinton Falls Road, Tinton Falls, New Jersey. REVISED SCOPE CHANGES 1. Question: The drawings do not indicate the removal and r eplacement of caulking around the windows, is this required? Answer: Yes, all calking located on the elevation shall be removed and replace with new backer rod and caulking. 2. Question: Are the two entrance canopy col's and the entrance c anopy enclosure included in the resurfacing ? Answer: Yes, two canopy col's located between col. 8 & 11 and the entrance canopy enclosure located between col. 15 & 17 shall be included in the resurfacing, this is equal to approximately 225 sq. ft. 3. Question: The finish coat system specified is STO or approved equal Which STO finish system are your specifying for this project ? Answer: Replace the note on sheet 2 RE-COAT ENTIRE ELEVATION WITH STO WATERTIGHT COAT & MESH OR APP ROVED EQUAL and replace with the following note: RE-COAT THE ENTIRE ELEVATION WITH STO FLEXYL COAT AND MESH AND STO ESSENCE FINISH OR APPROVED EQUAL. 4. Question: What type of Warrantee is required for the project ? Answer: a five year wa rrantee is required. Please note that this Amendment 0001 must be signed/dated and submitted at the time of the Bid Opening on 22 February 2008. All other terms and conditions remain the same for this effort. SCOPE OF WORK Scope Of Work For Building 1202 East, East Elevation only, requires repair of EIFS at head of second floor windows, repair of cracks at the third floor area EIFS, re-finish third floor are EIFS, and clean out and caulk vertical joints at columns. This effort will be in accordance with Government Drawings and Specifications Amendment 0002 set forth below: The Bid Opening time for B1202 E Project is at 1:00PM on 29 February 2008 at G ibbs Hall.
