- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov on or about 10 March 2008. This Solicitation will be an Invitation For Bid (IFB), and issued for Unrestricted competition. The following N AICS code 238220 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $13 Million. The date and time for Bid Opening will be on or about 09 April 2008, 1:30 p.m. (CST). The work includes demolition of fan coil units, unit ventilators, window air conditione rs, air handling unit, unit heaters, hot and chilled water pumps and piping, and suspended acoustical ceiling; removal and disposal of fluorescent lighting fixtures and lamps that may contain PCBs and mercury, respectively; installation of new fan coil uni ts, unit ventilators, air handling unit, unit heaters, hot and chilled water pumps and piping, and direct digital controls; miscellaneous mechanical and electrical work; installation of new suspended acoustical ceiling; installation of fire detection syste m; and balancing, adjusting, and commissioning work. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbizopps web site for any Amendments to the Solicitation. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract. All prospective Bidders must h ave a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The Solicitation will not be available in paper format from the Government. Faxed Bids are not permitted. Ele ctronic submission of Bids, by any other method, are also not permitted.
