- This solicitation (Request for Quotation) and any associated specifications will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 3, 2008. PAPER SOLICITATIONS WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business Set-Aside DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this solicitation is for the procurement of approximately 1,500 pieces of decking material (2" x 6" x 12'). This material shall be 100% recycled content (wood/plastic) such as Trex (or approved equal) product. The Request for Quotation will be posted on or about March 3, 2008 with all quotes due on March 10, 2008. The projected award date for the order is March 13, 2008. Estimated delivery for all materials shall be a minimum of 50% due by March 28, 2008 and the remaining 50% not later than April 11, 2008. The National Park Service will award a single firm fixed price commercial supplies contract to acquire materials for the re-decking of a trail within Mammoth Cave National Park. The contract will be awarded to the contractor offering the lowest priced, responsive and responible quote to the U.S. Government.
