- PR: F2BBAF8053A001 Buyer: 2Lt Joshua Vasquez Date: 27 Feb 08 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - 27 Feb 08 - This serves as a "Notice of Intent" to issue a purchase order under FAR 13.501, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to BURLE ELECTRO-OPTICS, INC., on a Sole Source basis to purchase the following line items: CLIN 0001 AA: Complete set of hardware for APD 3012X11 No P/N Quantity: 1 Unit of Measure: Each CLIN 0002 AA: Micro Channel Plates only for APD 3012X11 Multiple MA No P/N Quantity: 1 Unit of Measure: Each This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC Fac 2005-23,effective 26 December 2007. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of the compatibility requirements to existing write files. No request for quote for this procurement will be transmitted via Federal Business Opportunities. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 6 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government with an award date on or about 19 Mar 08. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
