- The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 is seeking a source for trash compactor. Marathon Equipment Company Part# RJ 250 SC-3BY 4 is the Brand Name. This product is compatible with the Government-owned trash compactors. This products will be delivered to NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Bldg LP-20 located in Norfolk, Virginia. The proposed contract will be a Firm Fixed contract. The required delivery will be within 45 days. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333319. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Numbered Notes 22 applies.
