- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire, on a sole source basis, services in support of the Stricken Aircraft Reclamation and Disposal (SARDIP) Program for the Naval Inventory Control Point in Philadelphia, PA. The NAICS Code is 541330 and the Small Business Size Standard is $25M. The period of performance is April 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. The proposed sole source contractor, L-3 Services Inc., as the incumbent contractor is uniquely positioned to begin performance immediately and is the only firm that can currently provide services, on an interim basis, with no guarantee of receiving the award for a competitive follow-on contract. The proposed cost plus fixed fee contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
