- Description
- Upgrade three zones from Viking Firecycle II to Firecycle III. Modify four of the existing Viking Firecycle II systems to comply with the manufacturer recommended installation of the system. Modify each Viking Firecycle systems to be monitored by the building addressable fire alarm system. Conduct a complete system test of each Viking Firecycle system. Tests shall consist of the manufacturer recommended test procedure for acceptance testing of new system. All work under this contract shall occur from 7:00AM TO 5:00PM, EXCEPT FOR THE DSR CONTROL ROOM WERE WORKERS MAY OCCUPY THE SPACE FROM 12:00AM TO 4:00 AM ONLY. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. NAICS-238220 RANGE - under $200,000 To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website www.ccr.gov). This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
