Description

NOTICE: Only local sources will be considered under this solicitation. Local sources are sources (e.g. corporations or partnerships) that are physically located in Japan and authorized (i.e. licensed and registered) to perform in Japan, the type of construction work specified in this solicitation. Specifically, a prospective offeror must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the pe rf ormance of the resulting contract. In addition, prior to award of the contract, offeror must be registered with the Government of Japan to do construction work in Japan and possess necessary construction licenses and permits to perform work required un der this solicitation. PROJECT INFORMATION: This project includes but not limited to replace deteriorated concrete floor slab. Replace and dispose of asbestos sidings (abatement)with insulated metal siding panels with louver windows. Remove interior me tal sliding doors. Replace exterior metal sliding doors with electrically operated roll up doors. Install personnel exit doors as required by life safety code. Replace deficient lighting fixtures. Install lighted exit signs. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 28, 2008. The magnitude of this project is between 100,000,000 Japanese Yen and 500,000,000 Japanese Yen.
