Description
Amendment A002 issued 3/3/08 to extend the proposal date indefinitely. A new proposal date will be established by future amendment along with an addendum to the Statement of Work. Amendment A001 issued to extend the proposal date to March 7, 2008. An additional amendment for technical clarifications is anticipated. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the replacement/installation of a Remote Center Air/Ground (RCAG) tower in Sarasota, FL in accordance with the Statement of Work attached. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price type construction contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. A site visit will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sarasota, FL RCAG site. Please, contact Wilberto Torres at the Sarasota SSC, 941/355-3834, for directions to the site prior to 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2008. Proposals must be received by the FAA, Bid and Proposal Officer (AMQ-100), 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169, no later than 3:00 p.m. CST, February 22, 2008. Hand-carried proposals (or proposals sent by overnight delivery) shall be delivered to Room 313 of the Multi-Purpose Building located at 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169. Proposals must be sealed and labeled as follows: SIR No. DTFAAC-08-R-57413; due 3:00 p.m. CST, February 22, 2008. Electronic proposals are authorized in accordance with Section L, Provision 3.2.2.3-20 Electronic Offers. Hand-delivered responses will need to allow sufficient time to process through security procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO could also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for special mail handling procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center. Any responses received after 3:00 p.m. CST, February 22, 2008, may not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals, incorporated by reference in the solicitation. If all requested information is not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined ineligible. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals.
