- Description
- This is a MARKET SURVEY to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set these future contracts aside for them. If your firm is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) and you are interes ted in these contracts, please respond appropriately. Louisville District plans to award two Multiple Award Task Order contract (MATOC) Umbrella Contracts; one will be set aside for SDVOB and another one (separate market survey will be issued) for HUBZON E contractors. Total combined contract capacity under the umbrella contract is planned to be $100 million for the SDVOB. Scope of individual tasks orders will be design/build construction, and incidental service projects associated with military and civi l, support for others, and other programs to support the Great Lakes and Ohio Rivers Division Mission. Award on this contract shall be for no less than three but no more than five contracts. Work consists of but not limited to: design/build, building co nstruction, demolition, debris removal, structural repairs, renovations, site work, utility installation and replacements, paving, channel improvements, industrial repairs/upgrades, landscaping, geo-technical work, instrumentation, architectural, security systems and design associated with various aforementioned tasks. The MATOC contract will consist of a one two-year base period and three one-year option periods for a total of five years. Estimated Cost Range is $25,000,000 to $100,000,000. NAICS Code i s 236220 ($31.5 million). All interest SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESSES should respond to this survey by email no later than 14 March 2008, 4:30 local time. Responses should include: 1)Identification and verification of the company's small busin ess status, 2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed contract; 3) Descriptions of experience, provide descriptions of projects that will be substantially complete by June 2008 or have been comp leted within the last five years which are similar to this proposed contract in scope. With each project experience provided, include the date when the project was completed or will be completed, location of the project, your firm's role on the project, c ontract amount, the portion of work that was self performed, the percentage of work that was self performed, and whether the project was design/build or not. Responses from proposed joint ventures between large and small business concerns (SDVOB), or cont ractor team established as a Mentor-Protege, shall state what portion of the work each contractor will self perform.
