- Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) Maintenance Services, Pearl Harbor, Oahu Hawaii. The Contractor shall maintain, repair the MGE 30kVA Galaxy 3000 UPS (Serial No. A02-10528) system and associated auxiliary equipment to ensure they are fully functional and operational; perform service call work in a timely manner and ensure system and equipment is restored to a safe, operable condition and function properly; respond to service calls within four hours and complete in a timely manner to ensure system and equipment are restored to a safe, operable condition and function properly; and provide bimonthly preventive maintenance inspection to ensure proper operation, to minimize breakdowns, and to maximize useful life. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811212 and the annual size standard is $23 million. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. The Gove rnment will not synopsize the options when exercised. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only A & P Power Systems, Ltd. under the authority of FAR 6.302, since it is the only authorized contractor to work on their equipment. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A de termination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contra ct based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
