- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement to purchase reusable shipboard containers for the Simplified Driver (SDR) Traveling Wave Tube (TWT), in accordance with NSWC Crane drawing as specified below. CLIN 0001: SDR TWT Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers (Complete Unit), in accordance with NSWC Crane drawings 6155778 pages 1-16 and the Statement of Work. Minimum Quantity 34, Maximum Quantity 75. CLIN 0002: SDR Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers Components (Cushions), in accordance with NSWC Crane drawings 6155778 pages 11-12 and the SOW. Minimum Quantity 0, Maximum Quantity 12. CLIN 0003: SDR Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers Components (Strong Backs), in accordance with NSWC Crane drawings 6155778 pages 8-10 and the SOW. Minimum Quantity 0, Maximum Quantity 12. CLIN 0004: SDR Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers Components (Aluminum Container), in accordance with NSWC Crane drawings 6155778 pages 2-7, 13-15 and the SOW. Minimum Quantity 0, Maximum Quantity 12. CLIN 0005: SDR TWT Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers (Complete Containers) for FMS, same as CLIN 0001. Minimum Quantity 0, Maximum Quantity 25. CLIN 0006: SDR Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers Components (Cushions) for FMS, same as CLIN 0002. Minimum Quantity 0, Maximum Quantity 3. CLIN 0007: SDR Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers Components (Strong Backs) for FMS, same as CLIN 0003. Minimum Quantity 0, Maximum Quantity 3. CLIN 0008: SDR Traveling Wave Tube Reusable Shipboard Containers Components (Aluminum Container) for FMS, same as CLIN 0004. Minimum Quantity 0, Maximum Quantity 3. Note: The total for CLIN 0001 & 0005 may fluctuate but will not exceed a combined total of 100. Note: The total for CLIN 0002 & 0006 may fluctuate but will not exceed a combined total of 15. Note: The total for CLIN 0003 & 0007 may fluctuate but will not exceed a combined total of 15. Note: The total for CLIN 0004 & 0008 may fluctuate but will not exceed a combined total of 15. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for a period of five years with minimum order quantities and maximum ordering quantities as specified above. Anticipated delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522. Inspection and acceptance with be at destination. Solicitation N00164-08-R-GR38 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. RFP will be available for download at www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/08-R-GR38 on or about 14 March 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of Offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
