Description
The United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Jonathan M Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA plans to award using other than full and open competition to Accelerated Care Plus (ACP) for the requirement listed below: Qty Item Description 4 EA Omnistim FX2 Pro Sport ??? Integrated EMS/PENS/NMS 4 EA Omnisound 3000 Pro Ultrasound Machine 2 EA Omnigel US5L 8 EA Omnigel UG250 4 EA Omni Carts for US/ESTIM Machines (Two Tier Cart) 10 BX Electrodes ERC2X2 (Comes in Boxes of 10) 10 BX Electrodes ERC2X4 (Comes in Boxes of 10) 10 BX Electrodes REC3X5 (Comes in Boxes of 10) 1 EA Bushwalker Custom Travel Bag built for ACP Products The expected dollar threshold for this requirement is under $28,000.00 Previous procurement data and experience indicate that ACP offers reciprocal advantages for the medical center and provide the best value to the Government. No further notice will be posted in the FedBizOps. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is NOT to be taken as a request for competitive proposals, however; any firm that believes its equipment meets or exceeds the requirements listed above, may give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 3:00 PM PST on March 11, 2008. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to 77 Wainwright Dr, Walla Walla, WA 99362 or e-mailed to Jackie.merriman@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source award to ACP. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1).
