Description: THIS IS THE MODIFICATION 02 TO THE PREVIOUS NOTICES. THE ORIGINAL NOTICE WAS POSTED ON FEBRUARY 01, 2008. MODIFICATION 01 WAS POSTED ON FEBRUARY 20, 2008. The correct solicitation number is I5430080003. THE BID DATE IS HEREBY EXTENDED TO MARCH 13, 2008. This notice is issued to correct or clarify the following: 1) The wage determination applicable to this procurement is WD-05-2473 (rev. 5) dated 06/05/2007. The minimum wage rate for Laborer, Grounds Maintenance is $9.29 according to the Department of Labor. The Statement of Equivalent Federal Wage Rates is simply to identify for potential bidders an estimate of what the Federal Government is currently paying as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation. 2) A bid guarantee is required in accordance with FAR 52.228-1, Bid Guarantee, in the amount of 20% of the bid price. The Bid Guarantee must be submitted with the bid offer. In addition, performance and payment bonds are required in accordance with FAR 52.228-16, Performance and Payment Bonds-Other than Construction. The performance and payment bonds must be 100% of the accepted bid amount and be submitted ten (10) calendar days after award along with a Certificate of Insurance. 3) The following corrected bid schedule to include the Coast Guard Facility and to delete Area B under Charles Pickney.
