Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Department of the Interior, has a requirement for a conference/training meeting facility for the Tulsa, Oklahoma, metropolitan area for June 16-20, 2008. This date is FIRM. Hotel must be located within walking distance of shopping areas and restaurants. Hotel must also have catering facilities and a grand ballroom to accommodate approximately 300 participants for plenary sessions. Eight (8) to ten (10) breakout rooms will also be required. Participants will be lodging at the hotel for 4 nights, checking in on June 16 and checking out on June 20. Hotel must be able to offer Government per diem room rates. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD OF $100,000.00. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written RFQ will not be issued. Interested hotels in the Tulsa metro area ONLY are asked to submit a description of their facility, amenities, and ability to offer per diem rates, refreshments, and/or meals. Hotel must possess a Dunn and Bradstreet number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 721110. All responders in the Tulsa metro area should send their capability statement to the U.S. Geological Survey, Attn: Raffaela Smith, 12201 Sunrise Valley Dr., Reston, VA 20192 by March 10, 2008.
