- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solication number is N00244-08-T-0232. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The solicitation is restricted to small businesses and small business manufacturers. Business size standard of 500 employees is applicable. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center-San Diego (FISC-SD N00244) is announcing a requirment for the following: CLIN 0001: Life Raft,- 6 ea P/N: 64490-103, S/N: 0116, 0047, 031, 0039, 0040, 0043 with 4 Option years. CLIN 0002, Life Raft - 12 EA, P/N: 64500-103, S/N# 0528, 0291, 0509, 0064, 0546, 0519, 0061, 0418, 0505, 0313, 0385, 0053. CL IN 0003, Misc. Charges/repack/shipment, 1 ea. All material will be inspected and accepted at destination (Government Location). IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Central Contractor Registration" (CCR) is required & applies to all solicitation issued on/after 2/23/04. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter ineligible for award of contract/purchase order. Pleae ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote. Utilize the CCR website at http://www.ccr2000.com and/or call the CCR assistance center at 888-227-2423 for more information. The following provisions & Clauses are applicable & are hereby incorporated into the solicitation by reference and by full text. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commerecial Items. Note: This provision must be reviewed completely. It contains the guidelines for submission of your quotation. Ability to meet the requirements set forth in this RFQ shall be demonstrated by the contractor's submission of a signed quotation which has not taken exception to the schedule. Quotations which take exception and do not meet the Government's requirement may be determined to the unacceptable & not considered for award. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, the Government intends to evaluate quotations without discussions & award a Firm Fix Price purchase order. Each initial offer should, therefore contain the contractors best form both a technical, contain the contractors best terms from both a technical, delivery & pricing standpoint. End.
