Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source contractual agreement with Analysis & Design Application company, LLC (marketing name CD-adapco) for an annual license for use of STAR-CCM+. CD-adapco is the developer and exclusive seller of STAR-CD/CCM+ in the United States. The period of performance for this proposed acquisition is 12 months. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes or a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates an ability to meet the NRC?s needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Betty Freeman, Purchasing Agent, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, Mail Stop T-7I2, Washington, DC 20555 via mail no later than July 11, 2007.
