- The United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Central Region Acquisition Division, (CRAD), Kansas City, MO., intends to solicit quotes for the acquisition for hangar space and ground handling of two (2) Twin Commander Aircraft, N45RF, Jetprop 1000 series, SN 96089; and N51RF, 500S, SN 3298, based at Eden Prairie, MN. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No. WC133M-08-RQ-0181 and is for a base period of one year with four (4) one year option periods. The intended procurement is for supplies and services which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. Any small business source, capable of completing this requirement required by the statement of work is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified services. In order to receive the complete Request for Quotation package, interested firms may send an e-mail request to Charlene.A.Yaple@noaa.gov or send a fax request with an e-mail address to telephone number 816-274-6977. The NAICS code for this action is 488119. This is a Small Business Set-aside. Central Region Acquisition Division, requires that all Contractors doing business with this officer be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made to a company not registered in CCR. For additional information to register in CCR, please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register, all firms must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
