- DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Solicitation No. FM230080391144 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. This is a small business set-aside. The associated NAICS Code is 337215. This RFQ has three line items. 1.10 ea Intermediate super adjustable shelf for super erecta security cart 24"W x 60"L.with Microban Antimicrobial Product Protection Mfr: InterMetro Industries Corp Part Num: A2460NK3 OR EQUAL 5 ea Heavy Duty Security Cart with 2-doors that swing open at 270 degrees and can be secured along the sides of the unit. Doors have handle that can be locked for security of stock. To include Microban Antimicrobial Product Protection. Must be able to hold up to 1000 pounds of material. Cart is mobile, rides on 5" diameter casters and sits on an aluminum dollie with wraparound bumpers to protect walls from damage. Measures 28 1/16"W X 63 1/8"L x 68 1/2"H. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. (d) The ombudsman has no authority to render a decision that binds the agency. The Government will make an award from this request for quotation to the responsible quoter whose quote will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all.
