Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement con stitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S Army CECOM LCMC intends to make this procurement a one hundred percent (100%) Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Business (SDV OB) Set Aside. The solicitation number is W15P7T-08-Q-N008 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is issued from CECOM -LCMC Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, AMSEL-AC-CB-RT-S, for the procurement of six (6) each s hock absorbers used on large sixty feet (60 ft) satellite terminal antennas, NSN 2510-01-463-4080, part #SM-F-715226. This acquisition shall include a one hundred percent (100%) option for six (6) each shock absorbers to be exercised, if the government de sires with notification thirty (30) days before final delivery date of basic amount. The delivery schedule for this item will be as follows: (six) 6 each shock absorbers within sixty (60) days after contract award. Packaging and Packing shall be in ac cordance with standard commercial packaging. Shipments are to be FOB Destination. The shock absorbers and any supporting documentation are to be shipped to the following location: TRANSPORTATION OFFICER, DDSP NEW CUMBERLAND FACILITY, 2001 NORMANDY DRIVE DOOR 113 TO 134, NEW CUMBERLAND PA 17070-5002, as implemented by FAR 52.247-34. Warranty: Provide with quote, standard commercial warranty information. Packaging requirements are as follows: Standard Commercial Packaging. Responses to this Reques t for Quote (RFQ) must be signed, dated, and received via electronic mail or fax by five (5) April 2008 no later than 2:00 PM Fort Monmouth time. Responses should be marked with the solicitation number; these and all other correspondence may be directed t o Michael Eskarous at michael.eskarous@us.army.mil, Phone: 732-532-2911, Fax: 732-532-9279. All Contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award or quotes will not be considered. Vendors may register with CC R by calling 1-800-334-3414 or register on line at http://www.CCR.gov . The Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submits the lowest, responsive quotation, and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer. The Off erors must submit quotations on the full quantity identified. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this procedure. Offers are to be received within thirty (30) DAYS of the posting of this COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. The US Army CECOM LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM LCMC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or other wise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or p art of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
