Description
Solicitation W81XWH-08-R-0011 will be issued ON OR ABOUT 25 March 2008. No hard copies of this solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resultin g amendments ON OR ABOUT 25 March 2008 at the following website: www.usamraa.army.mil, click on Solicitations. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov. This solicitation will be a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code f or this procurement is 541690 with a size standard of $6.5 million in average annual receipts. Scope of Work: Provide personnel possessing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to support the US Army Medical Information Technology Center (USAMITC) Acquisi tion Management Division (AMD) at Ft. Sam Houston, TX. USAMITC is a subordinate activity of the Medical Research Materiel Command (MRMC) and is the Information Technology (IT) execution arm of the Army Medical Department (AMEDD). The USAMITC provides ful l life cycle management support for information systems and services for the AMEDD, the Military Health System (MHS), and other Government clients. The USAMITC products and services cover the full spectrum of life cycle capabilities, from needs assessment s to acquisition and/or development through operations and sustainment. This support will continue and/or establish expert program management, consultation, and acquisition strategies for Medical Information Systems as prioritized by USAMITC for projects and other support efforts. This requirement is neither inherently Governmental or personal services in nature. Program management provides a single point of contact who are the major forces for planning and directing the system through its evolution, incl uding design, development, production, deployment, operations and support, and disposal. It is anticipated the requirement will be for a base year of 19,200 hours with possible options for an additional four (4) years.
