- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for the following: 1. AN/SPS-48E Bull Gear Bearing, gear assembly, evaluation for repair in accordance with ITT Gilfillan Specification No 200150, Rev C, ITT Gilfillan Drawing No. 195983, Rev E and AN/SPS-48E Pedestal Overhaul Manual, SE213-UE-MDB-010/SPS-48E, Chapter 8, minimum 1, maximum 30 2. AN/SPS-48E Bull Gear Bearing, gear assembly, Level I bearing overhaul (polish/touch grind) in accordance with ITT Gilfillan Specification No 200150, Rev C, ITT Gilfillan Drawing No. 195983, Rev E and AN/SPS-48E Pedestal Overhaul Manual, SE213-UE-MDB-010/SPS-48E, Chapter 8, minimum 1, maximum 10 3. AN/SPS-48E Bull Gear Bearing, gear assembly, Level II bearing overhaul (precision grind) in accordance with ITT Gilfillan Specification No 200150, Rev C, ITT Gilfillan Drawing No. 195983, Rev E and AN/SPS-48E Pedestal Overhaul Manual, SE213-UE-MDB-010/SPS-48E, Chapter 8, minimum 0, maximum 10 4. AN/SPS-48E Bull Gear Bearing, gear assembly, Level III bearing overhaul (new race) in accordance with ITT Gilfillan Specification No 200150, Rev C, ITT Gilfillan Drawing No. 195983, Rev E and AN/SPS-48E Pedestal Overhaul Manual, SE213-UE-MDB-010/SPS-48E, Chapter 8, minimum 0, maximum 5 5. AN/SPS-48E Bull Gear Bearing, gear assembly, new manufacture in accordance with ITT Gilfillan Specification No 200150, Rev C and ITT Gilfillan Drawing No. 195983, Rev E, minimum 0, maximum 20 NOTE: Maximum quantities of CLINs 0002, 0003 and 0004 may fluctuate but the total maximum quantities may not exceed a total of 25 repairs. The Government anticipates award of a 5 year firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. Solicitation N00164-08-R-GR27 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. RFP will be available for download at www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/08-R-GR27 on or about 14 March 2008. Closing date will be on or about 11 April 2008. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522-5001. Inspection and acceptance is at destination by government personnel. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. It is the responsibility of Offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
