- The proposed acquisition is for a commercial service in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Youngstown Air Reserve Station has a requirement for a contractor to provide Mess Attendant Services. (See statement of work (SOW) and other attachments) The anticipated period of performance is for 1 year (starting 1 April 2008), plus four additional one-year options. All responsible sources may submit a proposal what will be considered by this agency. The government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government. A site visit will be conducted on Saturday, 13 October 2007, at 1030 hours. If you wish to participate in the site visit, provide the names and duty positions within your organization of individuals attending by 1 October 2007. All individuals attending the site visit must have in their possession a government issued (state or federal) picture identification. All vehicles operated on the installations must provide a current registration and proof of insurance. All vehicle operators must have a valid driver?s license. The offerors initial proposal should contain the offerors best terms from a cost or price and technical standpoint. Only written proposals will be accepted and are due no later than 12:00 PM, 26 October 2007 at the 910th CONF/LGC, Building 504, Attention: Kenny King, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Vienna, Ohio 44472-5931. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
