- Description
- Amendment 1 issued March 6, 2008 to provide clarification. The Federal Aviation Administration in Oklahoma City, OK, has a requirement for at least one new or unused pre-engineered modular office building, one of approximately 7000 square ft. in size with a maximum width of 60'-0" and one of approximately 10,000 square ft. in size with a maximum width of 60'-0. Steel frame-type shall be outrigger and cross member configuration with 29 gauge high rib steel siding panels. Buildings shall have one Men's restroom with one water closet, one urinal one sink and one Women's restroom with two water closets and one sink. Buildings shall be weather tight with all HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems in good working order. Award preference will be provided based on delivery and installation time. The FAA's order of priority is: (a) Delivery/installation of a 7,000 s.f. building by May 25, 2008, or (b) Delivery/installation of a 10,000 s.f. building by May 25, 2008, if sufficient funds are available and otherwise in the best interest of the Government. (c) Delivery/installation of a 7,000 s.f. building by May 25, 2008 and delivery/installation of a 10,000 s.f. building at a later date, if sufficient funds are available and otherwise in the best interest of the Government. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, coordination and transportation necessary to install the required foundation prior to delivery and to deliver and install the building at a site located on the campus of the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK. The FAA will be responsible for all steps, ramps, sidewalks and utility connections to the buildings. This announcement is for information purposes only, not a request for proposals. A Screening Information Request/Request for Offers (SIR/RFO) will be posted on or about March 10, 2008, with a closing date of March 18, 2008. All contractors doing business with the FAA must certify that they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov, at the time of proposal submission.
