Description
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source interim contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Enterprise Technology Solutions, LLC to render Preferred Repricing Provider services for VISNs 10, 11, and 15. These VISNs encompass, but are not limited to, VA Medical Centers in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio. The facilities require repricing of health care provider invoice services, to include making healthcare provider discounts available to the VA and providing the preferred pricing information to the VA. Pricing will be based on a percentage of the savings; if there are no savings, no payment will be made to the contractor. The contractor's fee will be a percentage of savings on a per claim basis with no additional fee beyond the percentage of savings. Savings will be defined as the difference between the VA's allowable amount (the amount the VA would pay) and the contract preferred price. The VAMCs often send patients to community physicians and ancillary service providers within the communities in which they live. When eligible veterans use providers offering discounts for hospitalizations, inpatient services, outpatient care, ambulatory surgery, dental, professional services, ancillary, or other services, discounted rates will be available to The applicable NAICS Code is 524291 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The contract period is anticipated to be 6 months from date of award, with two available one-month option periods. This announcement of the intent to sole source is NOT a request for proposals, quotes, or bids. No formal solicitation document will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely in the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by COB March 20, 2008 at 4:00 PM EST. If no responses are received by this date, a sole source contract with Enterprise Technology Solutions, LLC will be awarded.
