Description
The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, has a requirement for the above subject. This is not a Solicitation Announcement or a Request for Proposal and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified/certified businesses, relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 237990. This NAICS code has a Small Business Administration size standard of $31,000 ,000.00. This announcement serves only as a market survey/sources sought in order to determine the availability of small business concerns. This is not a Solicitation Announcement and is not a Request for Proposal and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. Responses are being sought from qualified 8(a) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns possessing the technical expertise and bonding capability to execute the work re quirements. The Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis to make an appropriate acquisition decision for the above project. Your firm must be registered in the CCR under the above listed NAICS code in order to be considered for award . To make appropriate acquisitions for the above project, the Government, will use responses to this sources sought synopsis and possible future projects as determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The order of magnitude, for this effort is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project will consist of replacing all joint seals; repairing all concrete spalls, popouts and cracks; pressure washing floodwall; applying a cementitious coating; applying two coats of water proofing; painting all exposed metal surfaces; and painting monolith numbers at each end of wall monoliths riverside and landside. S. Army Corps of Engineers, 167 N. Main Street B-202, Memphis, Tennessee 38103. Response must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time, on March 20, 2008. The following information is requested: (1) Name of firm w/address, telephone, fax number, e-mail address, and point of contact. (2) State your company business type (8(a) or service-disabled veteran-owned small business) (3) State whether your firm can provide an Irrevocable Letter of Credit or a Payment Bond (100% of the contract amount). In order to qualify, your firm must have the capabilities to perform this services listed in this announcement. Responses to this sourc es sought synopsis shall indicate specialized experience and technical competence in the subject matter above and all other work associated with the general work requirement of this project. Evaluation(s) will consider overall experience. Also provide do cumentation for your firm on past performance as a prime contractor. Please provide any past performance on projects of similar nature. Submission Requirements: Firms submitting responses shall present their information in a matrix format showing contra cts they have performed. The matrix shall show the most recent five projects that prove you can meet each qualification criteria listed above. It shall include contract number, project title and location, description of work, and a point of contact and t elephone number for each. Firms should also indicate all applicable personnel and sub-contractors proposed to work on the contract as well as a list of equipment. Firms who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested will not be considered by the Government while making the acquisition decision for this source sought announcement.
