Inc., 800 Centennial Ave., Piscataway, NJ 08854-3950. Biacore is the exclusive manufacturer of the equipment. Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Naics code 334516 and size standard in number of employess of 500 is applicable to this order. Delivery date is on or before 6/20/2008. Shipment will only be accepted Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST with the exception of Federal Government holidays. The following items are needed by the Division of Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases (NCZVED/DVBID): Biacore X 100+, Quantity of 1 each Biacore X 100, Quantity of 1 each The proposed contract action is for commercial items which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR subpart 6.3. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The following provisions apply to this acquisition; 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercials Items (MAR 2000) applies to this acquisition; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (JAN 1999); the evaluation criteria stated in paragraph (a) of this provision are as follows: (1) technical capability of the proposed items to meet the requirements stated herein, and (2) price.
