Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation request for quotes for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quotes under RFQ8196. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-24. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a not small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423490 and the Small Business Size Standard is 100 Employees. Small and disadvantage businesses are encouraged to submit a quotation on this requirement. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) have a requirement to procure a Liquid Chromatography System. These are the required components listed as followed. 1) AKTA Purifier UPC 10; 2) Fraction Collector with rotating capability of collecting from row to row, column to column, row serpentine or column serpentine; 3) PV908 25 MPA Pump; 4) Online filter complete; 5) AKta user kit; 6) Superdex 20010/300 gl; 7) Superdex 75 10/300 gl; 8) System must include one automatic three position injection valve (load, inject and wash position); 9) Include set-up and training on equipment at no cost; 10) Flow rate range of .001 to 10 mls/min at pressure range from 0-25 MPa (3625 psi). The Liquid Chromatography System must allow the user to enter details of the next purification at the same time current separation is being done, or to simultaneously be integrating and evaluating the results of earlier runs. The software must allow complete manual control of all parameters and running conditions while running a method. The controller must accept seven input signals and capable of plotting, and integrating these signals, as well as using them to trigger sub-routines in the program when the signals exceeds a preset threshold.
