Description

The principal components of the work include: (1) Removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete on the bridge abtments and piers; (2) removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete on the bridge deck; (3) removal of existing wearing surface; (4) furnishing and installing a polymer concrete overlay; (5) repairing bridge deck cracks with epoxy injections; and (6) removal and replacement of existing bridge expansion joints. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Solicitation packages (hard copy) are tentatively scheduled to be issued on or around March 28, 2008. The sealed bids are tentatively due on or around April 29, 2008, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Acquisition Service GP-3800 Room 2015, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101 (Attention: Alma Bergerson). There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional copies are $9.00 each and they will be provided upon receipt of a non-refundable cashier check or money order. The estimated range of the project is $100,000-$250,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAISC) is 237310, and the Small Business Size Standard is $31.0 million. This is an unrestricted acquisition, pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The specifications and drawings WILL NOT BE POSTED on the Internet. A complete solicitation package is available in hard copy upon written request. To receive a copy of the solicitation, send a written request on company letterhead to include contractor's name, address, telephone and fax numbers, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) to Hart BlackEagle, FAX No. 406-247-7798.
