- Description
- BASE BID: In accordance with General and Scope Section 01011 the Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment, labor and materials for the following improvements and replacements of infrastructure at the North Chicago VA Medical Center. Work shall comply with the scope descriptions and general directives in this section and, as applicable, with the following specification sections: 01572, 02091, 07920, 09310, 10162, 10800 and 16050. Work shall include but not be limited to: A. Repaint all presently painted wall, ceiling, window, door (both sides) and frame surfaces in the entire interior of four VA owned apartment buildings. Also, replace the following miscellaneous doors. B. Divide room 2D-210 (Building 133CA) into two rooms. C. Miscellaneous Removal and renovation work in Building 66. D. In Building 66, provide and install ceramic tile over the existing ceramic wall and floor tile, in rooms 112, 114A, 114, 117, 131, 131A, 133, 214, 216A, 216, 219, 229, 229A and 231, in accordance with Section 09310. All work will be accomplished within 365 days after receipt of the notice to proceed.
