Description
The VA North Texas Healthcare Systems intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with IMPAC Medical Systems, 100 West Evelyn Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94041 for software maintenance and support of the IMPAC software that runs the IMPAC medical system in the Radiation Therapy Department. Contract will be awarded for a period of one year with 2 options to extend, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for software and licenses. IMPAC provides a comprehensive oncology cancer care management solution that helps improve overall communication, process efficiency, and the quality of patient care. The IMPAC medical system software requires precise setup for consistent delivery and accurate documentation, which is critical to radiation oncology. IMPAC Medical Systems has exclusive rights to this software and are the only responsible source for this existing product. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest; accompanied by supporting information, to the Contracting Specialist no later than March 20, 2008 @ 2:00 p.m. Responses should be mailed to Rita Anderson (90C), VANTHCS, 4500 S. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses this notice is solely within the discretion of the Dallas VA Medical Center Contract Specialist.
