Description

The Government intends to award a sole source FFP contract to Aeroflex Cupertino, 10411 Bubb Road, Cupertino, California 95014 to purchase one Stream to Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks (RAID)option system upgrade for an existing Aeroflex Broadb and Signal Analyzer (BSA)and Generator System (BSAG) to increase the capacity of captured waveform recordings. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days aft er date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information re ceived will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement This is not a Request for Quotations and no solicitation will be issued. This is a full and open competition and NAICS code is 334230. T he closing date of this announcement is 12 noon, MST, Monday, 17 March 2008.
